Kirk Mueller, St. Louis, has recently joined the LCMS Foundation as the Gift Planning Counselor who will serve the members of the Missouri District and the Southern Illinois District.

As Gift Planning Counselor, he will help individuals and congregations:

• Transfer God-given blessings to the people they love and the ministries in their hearts,
• Discover creative and tax-efficient methods of giving,
• Create and grow endowments,
• Uncover their Lifetime Plan for Giving.

Mueller has served in Lutheran high school ministry since 1975, most recently as Director of Admissions and Development at Lutheran High School North in St. Louis. His passion is serving His Lord by building relationships with Christians; relationships that will empower the spreading of the Gospel. He and his wife are parents of five children.

Mueller replaces Terry Gerdts who was a Gift Planning Counselor in Missouri for almost 20 years. Gerdts now serves as Senior Vice-President of Gift Planning Services for the LMCS Foundation.
