This includes:
• College students*

- Crandall,
Ron, "Turn
Around Strategies for the Small Church."
Nashville: Abingdon, 1995. In
"Turn Around Strategies for the Small Church,"
the author shows what kind of leadership, evangelism
and outreach will bring about a desirable turnaround.
He provides specific actions that will develop the
skills of those who minister in the life of a small
church and helps pastors and other church leaders
evaluate their ministry objectively, thereby enhancing
their daily practice of ministry.
- Ficken,
Jock E., "Change:
Learning to Lead It and Living to Tell About It."
Lima, Ohio: Fairway Press, 1999.
If
you’re seeking to be a positive instrument for change
in the midst of resistant forces, you’ll appreciate
the been there, done that, manner. You’ll gain confidence
to move your congregation forward.
- All
rural/small town congregations who are making plans
this fall need to look at the following resource:
“Growing
Where You Are Planted” from Board for Congregational
Services – LCMS. It is available from CPH #SO1759.
It is a training guide for pastors and leaders of
rural/small town congregations.
