| In Kansas City, The
Lutheran Mission of the Good Shepherd is reaching the
lost by serving both African-Americans and Hispanic.
The African-American congregation is now outfitting
a new preaching station—a gift from a supporter
of the ministry. Outreach staff is needed to develop
relationships with the community and assist in the many
social needs found in an urban setting.
There are now more than 125,000 Hispanics in the greater
Kansas City area. A worship ministry team brings sacrament
and song to Hispanic congregations and they are seeing
people come to a saving knowledge of the Gospel. |
