Thought for the Week

Hebrews 3:13            But encourage one another daily as long as it is called Today, so that none of you may be deceived by sin’s deceitfulness.

No one has yet realized the wealth of sympathy, the kindness and generosity hidden in the soul of a child.  The effort of every true education should be to unlock that treasure.

Today is another day to share the love of Jesus Christ with students.  May the Holy Spirit fill you with eagerness to spread the treasure of salvation that is ours through faith in Jesus.

St. Louis Housing Needed

A student at Trinity in Jefferson City will be coming to Children’s Hospital in St. Louis next month for a bone marrow transplant.  The student will be in the hospital for approximately three months.  Principal Ken Hartman is seeking possible apartment or house for the family to rent during that time.  Please contact Ken Hartman at 573-636-7807.

LEA ECEnet Leadership Institute

Here you will find registration information for the upcoming LEA ECEnet Leadership Institute.  The third module of this event will take place on June 18-19, 2008, at St. John Lutheran Church in Seward, Nebraska.  This will follow the ECE Workshop sponsored by Concordia, Seward, on June 18.  This event was held in Nebraska the last two years as well, with participation from several districts.  Early childhood directors/teachers are invited to attend.  Registrations are due June 1 to the Nebraska District - LCMS.  Please note that there are two sides to the registration form.  If you have any questions, please contact:
